Never Too Early

Ps 94:12 Blessed is the man you discipline, a O LORD, the man you teach b from your law;

“Why is that child always quiet?” I asked my wife. “She doesn’t answer when I say ‘hello’.”

“Her Mum told me she’s always like that in the mornings –grumpy,” my wife said.

“Oh,” I replied.

The little girl in question was about four or five years old. Her Mum was a kind woman who helped me took my daughter to the nursery three times a week.

Whenever we meet and I say good morning to Dora, the little girl, she would give me a quick glance and look away.

It is never too early to teach our kids (even a four-year-old) how to behave right, even when they are not feeling like it. They may not listen or obey all the time, but it is a good place to start.
